difference:

1. Different carbon content

The carbon content of each type of stainless steel is different, and the carbon content affects the hardness and other characteristics of the steel, so the carbon content of the two is different;

2. The content of constituent elements varies

The former contains 11% Cr and 8% Ni as its constituent elements, while the latter contains more than 18% chromium and around 8% nickel, as well as small amounts of molybdenum, titanium, nitrogen, and other elements;

3. The former has better mechanical and process performance, while the latter has poorer mechanical and process performance, and is mostly used in acid resistant structures with low stress and as anti-oxidation steel.
