1. Basic performance

Chemical composition: 18-20% chromium (Cr), 8-10.5% nickel (Ni), carbon (C) ≤ 0.08%, and containing small amounts of manganese, silicon and other elements. Low carbon design enhances corrosion resistance.

Mechanical properties: The yield strength in annealed state is about 263.8 MPa, the tensile strength is 625.55 MPa, and the elongation rate is 46.7%, which combines high strength and plasticity.

Corrosion resistance: Suitable for freshwater, atmospheric, and weak acid environments, with better resistance to pitting and stress corrosion than ordinary 304 stainless steel (with molybdenum containing versions having better performance).

Heat resistance: The long-term use temperature range is -196 ° C to 800 ° C, and attention should be paid to antioxidant treatment at high temperatures.

2. Processing and Supply

Processing technology:

Cold processing: suitable for deep drawing, stretching and other forming processes, the surface smoothness of cold-rolled sheet can reach 2B level, commonly used for deep drawing parts such as sinks and kitchenware.

Hot processing: supports hot rolling and forging, and should avoid intergranular corrosion caused by chromium carbide precipitation.

Specifications and Customization:

Common thickness of 0.3-200mm, available in various forms such as sheet, rod, pipe, etc., supporting surface treatment such as slitting and opening.

Some suppliers provide customized special properties such as high temperature resistance and wear resistance.
